With 25 years of experience in healthcare, Stephanie is part of the healthcare strategy and innovation team at B. Braun Medical, Inc. (USA). In her role as the Director of Strategy-Therapy Solutions & Programs, she is able to combine clinical, medical device, and leadership experience to identify innovative solutions and programs to help solve complex healthcare challenges. She works with a cross-functional team identifying new product and process solutions focused on the healthcare industry with the ultimate goal of improving overall patient care and outcomes. Stephanie is responsible for collaborative strategic healthcare relationships where mission and vision align, the patient is the focus and collaboration brings power of change.
Stephanie has spent her career in Pediatrics, Vascular Access, and has held various roles in leadership. Her innovative thinking has been hard-wired into solving real clinical challenges and has led to the development of new programs, systems and products focused on improving care. She developed a micro-introducer for small patients, allowing the modified seldinger technique to be employed in neonates. This product is now available globally and has changed how PICCs are inserted in the smallest patients.
Stephanie has authored many clinical publications, including miniMAGIC, a global guideline published in Pediatrics. She was honored in 2017 with the Association of Vascular Access ‘Janet Pettit Scholar Award’ recognizing her research and dedication in advancing pediatric vascular access. Stephanie has served in various leadership roles with the Association for Vascular Access and is a founding member of SONSIEL. Stephanie is a recent graduate of the MGH Institute of Health Professions Doctorate of Nursing Practice program.
